A long weekend in the Alentejo

Friday Afternoon BBQ
2pm - 6pm
Friday is about getting here, checking in and kicking back. There will be a bbq smoking on the coals all afternoon at our village association (see photo). It’s an opportunity to get your bearings, settle in and enjoy an honest welcome to Barrancão.

Welcome drinks will be hosted at Cucumbi, our neighbours’ stunning family home, boutique hotel and organic farm. Nothing wild, the real party is tomorrow.

Welcome to Casa Na Colina, wear whatever you feel comfortable splashing and lazing about in (the fields have thistles so bring sandals)

Sunday Calm
All day long
It’s recovery day and there’s nowhere better than Cucumbi to lizard yourself by the lake.
Swimming, chilling, farm tours, pottery, massages and endless organic food from the farm will be the order of the day. We’ll have you back to yourself in no time.
